2) Was the email/chat address spelt correctly?
3) Check the email/Chat address was written correctly. Check it has an @ sign, check it has .com, .co .ke etc. and ensure that it is a dot (.) and not a comma (,)

Potential problems/solutions:
1) If you use Facebook, MSN or Yahoo, is your status set to ONLINE? If you are not ONLINE you cannot send a Chat message. To set your Facebook, MSN or Yahoo STATUS from your phone, SMS the following commands to 389
- ONLINE (or ON)
- AWAY
- BUSY
- OFFLINE (or OFF)
2) Have you already added your contact’s CHAT address to your phone (if not add chat contacts on the contacts page)
3)Have you saved a peperusha CHAT number for this contact? This is the number that was sent to you when you added the contact's CHAT address.
To CHAT, send an SMS to the saved peperusha number for that contact. It will be sent as an chat message to your contact.
